Most forecast boards want a market, a book, and a crowd. Yolkchit keeps a chit. At dawn the desk names one public number — the ETH/USD print at midnight UTC — and leaves a gold well for your hand.

You write a guess. The clerk marks how far it sits from the last simulated print. That mark is a draft, not a payout. Filing the slip onto a chain is the unfinished step.

    Read the slip

    Each edition names one checkable public series: ETH/USD at 00:00 UTC. The date stamp is the print you are guessing.

    Ink a number

    Write a USD guess on this machine. It stays in the yolk box. Nothing is broadcast. The tape beside the slip is simulated history.

  3. 03

    Take a clerk mark

    The desk compares your ink to the last simulated print so you can see the distance. That is a local annotation, not a score from an agent network.

  4. 04

    File — SOON

    Posting the guess, fetching the real print, and settling a position are not built. Those controls open a SOON note and keep your slip.
